What else can be said about Anthony? From personal experience, I can tell you that he is one of the most polite young adults I have ever met, and has incredible patience when working with the very young students that are starting out in Buk Sing Choy Lay Fut. As webmaster of this site, I have observed Anthony for over four years and have seen him grow physically, mentally and advance in the martial arts. In December 2002, Anthony was advanced to the rank of Brown sash, leaving only the Black Sash to be attained.

A very interesting photo, as it was taken in Cuba. On the right is Alejandro Ricardo, who has communicated with Sifu Vince Lacey via e-mail for almost two years. We have noticed in his e-mails that Alejandro's english has been improving rapidly, and he and his fellow Choy Lay Fut practitioners are making a video to send to Sifu for forms study and correction. It truly is a small world, and once again proves the power of the Internet!

The following is Alejandro's latest e-mail, check out the Swedish website notated

Hello Sifu!!!

I was quite glad when I saw your mail. Is good to think that we haven`t lost contact even when we were uncomunicated all this time. I told to my students about your message and they were very happy. I think is good that, in spite of distance, we have this connection, it shows that a good friendship can be stablished between two persons, even when they have so differents cultures and when they have the language barrier.
I am sorry about your knees, I also have problem in one of my knees, the left one, although I hurt it playing basketball four years ago. Anyway, I have always had the question about if trainig can cause some kind of damage to knees, or shoulders or other articulation. One of my student told me that he was having pain on one of his shoulders since three weeks ago, now I donīt know what to tell him.
You are right about what you told me about Gaspar Garcia, he is a direct student of Chan Jong Fa from Sidney, Australia. He belongs to the sixth generation.
I am quite glad about you interest of seen a video about what we know, we are already working on it, you can be sure that you will receive it as soon as we can film it, it is going to be very difficult for us but we will do our best.
Now I am checking your website, and seeing your photos with other masters, my wing chung friend is also seeing them. If you want you can see a picture of mine and of a Choy Gar practitioner on a swedish website. At the principal page, you clic on Cuba , and you can find a principal photo. I am performing  a strike with my right arm, on say ping ma stance. The web address is www.choygar.com

We have a very strong relationship with the swedish friends, they came to Cuba to teach Choy Gar. Now there is a project by wich they have a systematic exchange every year.

Now I have to leave you but I am happy because we are connected again. I wish you to heal your knees as soon as possible, you should take care about them, to avoid a persistant problem.

You receive a strong hug from a cuban brother,

Alejandro
